什麼是IB MYP？適合哪些學生？
IB中學課程（MYP）是一個為期五年的教育框架，適合11至16歲的學生（6至10年級，即MYP 1-5）。它是IB課程體系的中間階段——銜接小學課程（PYP）並通向IB文憑課程（IBDP）或其他16歲以上的資格證書。MYP在IB授權學校提供，圍繞概念學習、探究以及可遷移的學習方法（ATL）技能的發展而構建。在香港，超過十幾所國際學校提供MYP課程，包括CDNIS、VSA和RCHK。
MYP和IBDP有什麼區別？
IB中學課程（MYP）涵蓋6至10年級（11至16歲），是一個廣泛的、以探究為基礎的課程，包含八個學科組和基於標準的評估。MYP 1-4沒有強制性外部考試；MYP 5有可選的電子評估（eAssessment）。IB文憑課程（IBDP）涵蓋11至12年級（16至18/19歲），是一個專業的、外部考試的資格證書：學生修讀六門學科（三門高級水平，三門標準水平）加上核心課程（TOK、EE、CAS），按45分制評分。IBDP比MYP密集得多，更注重考試——這一過渡需要專門的準備。
MYP如何評估？
MYP評估是基於標準的。每個學科有四個定義的標準（標記為A、B、C和D），每個標準按0-8分評分。四個標準分數通過一組等級界限表合併，產生1-7的最終學科成績，其中7為最高。對於MYP 1-4的學生，所有評估都是校內進行的——沒有外部考試。MYP 5（10年級）學生可以選擇參加IB eAssessment，這是一套外部設定和評分的線上考試和課程作業，可獲得MYP證書。學校是否提供eAssessment路徑因校而異——請直接向您的學校諮詢。
我的孩子什麼時候應該開始MYP輔導？
合適的時間取決於所需支持的性質。對於學科鞏固——加強對特定學科內容和評估標準的理解——MYP 1或2是理想的起點，在MYP 5的高難度學習之前有時間建立良好的學習習慣。對於個人項目支持，MYP 5是相關年份——最好在主題開始確定範圍時（通常是10年級第一學期）就開始，而不是等到報告撰寫階段。對於IBDP過渡準備，MYP 5和IB1之間的暑假是最佳窗口——All Round Education的課程專門為這一過渡點設計。已經在MYP 5並需要緊急支持特定任務或評估的學生也可以從有針對性的短期輔導中受益。
